01FAQ
Jerusalem AI, answered.
- What is the Jerusalem AI Collective?
- The Jerusalem AI Collective (often just “Jerusalem AI”) is the Jerusalem chapter of The AI Collective, a non-profit, grassroots movement of more than 200,000 people in 128 cities. In Jerusalem we are 1,700+ builders, researchers, founders and curious people who meet in person to learn AI by building.
- Is it free to join?
- Yes. Membership and events are free. Add yourself to the members wall at jerusalemai.com/members and follow the Luma calendar to get invited to every gathering.
- When did the Jerusalem AI Collective start?
- Our first gathering was a pre-launch meetup on 19 August 2025. The chapter officially launched on 18 November 2025.
- What kind of AI events happen in Jerusalem?
- We run Discovery Labs (small groups rotating through rooms on art, engineering, education, ethics and business), build nights and hackathons, hands-on masterclasses with partners like Lovable, Anthropic and Stripe, and evening salons on leadership and responsible AI.
- Where are the events held?
- At venues across Jerusalem. The exact location for each event is on its Luma page.
- Do I have to live in Jerusalem to join?
- No. The community is rooted in Jerusalem, but members join from across the region, and some sessions, like our International Women’s Day masterclass, run online and have drawn builders from around the world.
- Do I need to be technical to come?
- No. Engineers and researchers come, and so do designers, teachers, founders, students and people who are simply curious. Every format has a way in for beginners.
- Who runs it?
- A volunteer team led by Chapter Director Mouhammad Jayousi. You can meet the whole team at jerusalemai.com/people.
- How can my company partner with or sponsor the Jerusalem AI Collective?
- Email mohammad@aicollective.com. Partners host events, run masterclasses, provide tools and help us reach more of the city.
